Alerting Services
Many databases allow you to:
- Save searches for topics in areas where you would like to keep up-to-date
- The searches are automatically done on a regular basis to find newly entered materials
- Results are emailed to you
AND/OR
- Choose specific journals to see the table of contents as new issues are received
- Results are emailed to you
Some databases which include alerting services are:
- CLICnet (for newly cataloged books from any CLIC library)
- Academic Search Premier and other EBSCO databases
- ERIC, PsycINFO, Social Services Abstracts, Religion Index, and all CSA Databases
