Alerting Services

Many databases allow you to:

• Save searches for topics  in areas where you would like to keep up-to-date
  

• The searches are automatically done on a regular basis to find newly entered materials

• Results are emailed to you

AND/OR

• Choose specific journals  to see the  table of contents as new issues are received

• Results are emailed to you
  

Some databases which include alerting services are:

• CLICnet (for newly cataloged books from any CLIC library)

• Academic Search Premier and other EBSCO databases

• Ingenta

• ERIC, PsycINFO, Social Services Abstracts, Religion Index, and all CSA Databases
