The library is looking for students to work during the summer, performing specific tasks in various departments as well as a variety of general tasks including shelf reading library collections (i.e. Main, Children's, Reference) and shifting parts of the collection(s).
Desirable qualifications include availability to work the following hours: Monday – 9:30 to 6, Tuesday – Thursday – 9 to 6, Friday – 9 to 4 ; available to work the first two weeks of the summer ; working 2-3 Saturdays during the hours of 10 AM – 4 PM. These positions are 40 hours per week with no overtime. Vacations are unpaid and must be approved by a supervisor with at least a one week notice. Please discuss any questions or concerns you may have with a library supervisor.
The payrate for summer work is higher than the school year rate.
