Database & Alerting Services

Did you just begin work on a thesis or seminar paper and need to keep finding the latest information?

OR

Do you have ongoing research that requires continual updates?

Alerting Services can help you by searching your topic or journal title and sending you emails about new materials as they are received.

Some databases which include alerting services are:

• CLICnet (for newly cataloged books from any CLIC library)

• Academic Search Premier and other EBSCO databases

• Ingenta

• ERIC, PsycINFO, Social Services Abstracts, Religion Index, and all CSA Databases

New Titles List

Find the newest books, videos, and music in our collection with the New Titles List. The List can help you to:

• Get a list of new titles added to the library this fiscal year. You can also limit the list to a certain period (last 30 days) or limit by subject, department, or format.

• Link to the library's catalog (CLICnet) to find an item's call number/availability. Please note that records marked ASK or IN PROCESSING can be rush-cataloged within a day or two. To request rush cataloging, call or visit the Reference Desk (x6224) or submit a request online.

• Subscribe to an RSS feed of all titles added within the last 10 days or titles from a specific subject area.
