Distance Users
To qualify for Distance Users privileges, you must
- Live outside the 7 county Twin Cities Metro area (Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott & Washington counties),
OR
- Be enrolled in a doctoral program or the MBA program.

You may request ALL articles that are NOT available online, regardless of whether they are housed at BU Library or elsewhere, using the online forms.
When you fill out the forms, be sure to include your county or doctoral or MBA program cohort name in the Notes/Comments field.
We will send the article via an email with a link to a web page.
Sorry, we cannot provide copies of articles which we own in physical format for students who live within the Metro counties listed above.
Books:
Upon request, the library will mail up to five books to your address free of charge. For six or more books, there will be a $5.00/item charge.
Request all books using online forms.
When you fill out the forms, be sure to include your county or doctoral or MBA program cohort name in the Notes/Comments field as well as a note indicating that you are aware of the $5 charge (if this is beyond your fifth request).
